It seems to long since my last post. So much has happened. Spring has well and truly sprung and the garden is looking quite beautiful.
The veges are really romping along. I've been able to pick lettuce so far. It is so nice to have fresh vege that you know haven't been sprayed with who knows what.
The biggest news for today is that I have finally gained employment. I have been working full time for a little over a week now at an Optometrist practice.
On the first day, after a couple of hours I seriously thought of packing up and going home. My head was just spinning!!! A fully computerised booking system and so many different types of lenses and contacts!!
It all makes so much more sense after just the first week, so I am sure I will get the hang of it in no time.
Off to wash my car and water some gardens in the lovely Spring sunshine.
A happy weekend to everyone!

Leisa what fabulous news about you working. It would be quite daunting at first I imagine but how refreshing to learn new things. Your garden is also looking great, how wonderful that you are eating your own lettuces. Its still a bit cold here as we are still having the occasional frost which are burning ours a bit.
Hi Leisa,
Your vege patch looks just amazing, but your fresh produce will taste so much better that the store bought stuff.
Congratulations on the new job. I bet it is daunting but I kind of know how you feel. Our newsagency just went fully computerised & just when you think you have every thing down pat they throw in a lin 'Oh did you know that you can do this aswell????'....baby steps I keep telling myself!

Congratulations on the job! I’m sure your head is spinning, mine would be spinning too! I remember the days I had to digitalize my work... OMG! You will be surprised how fast you learn!
I always love your garden pictures. Growing your own vegetables and herbs is one of my dreams.
Glad to hear about the job Leisa...Your garden is looking so wonderful at the moment. Tell me did you put in in the open gardens, as I would love to come and have a look through...
