Roses & More........

Yesterday afternoon as the wind began to howl, I decided to fill my home with my roses.
The little jug above, which is a favourite little jug of mine is filled with Jean Ducher - isn't she a lovely lady!

After all the beautiful rain we have received the roses are just stunning.  With the wind howling in from the east this morning, I'm not sure how long will be looking beautiful for.  The front lawn is strewn with rose petals already.

Glad you rescued what you could before the wind! We have just planted roses here in the last couple of weeks (we have a new untouched house yard)... so we'll be waiting for some gorgeous roses to start blooming!

BEAUTIFUL roses Leisa. I love Jean Ducher....mine is about 3m tall now so all the roses nod down from above. They are such a delicate colour and what a deliciously sweet perfume they have.
Hope your week is a good one and you still have some roses left by the end of it! Angela

Your roses are lovely as are mine at the moment. I think we had forgotten what a good winter rain does.

Gorgeous Roses! My roses are still in bud at the moment, but I was a bit late pruning them!
